1. The service
EPL Knockout provides a platform for running Premier League survivor (last-one-standing) pools. We provide the software: fixtures, picks, leaderboards and league administration. We are not a bookmaker and we do not hold player funds.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person may hold multiple accounts, but league organisers may remove duplicate entries from their leagues.
3. Leagues, buy-ins and prizes
Buy-ins are set by each league organiser and are collected offline by them — EPL Knockout never takes custody of buy-in money. Prize distribution is the organiser's responsibility. House rules (rebuys, wildcards, prize splits, draw rules) vary per league and are shown before you join.
4. Picks and deadlines
Picks lock at the first kickoff of each gameweek. If you miss the deadline, the platform auto-picks the alphabetically first club you have not yet used that plays that gameweek. Results are settled from official match data; our settlement is final.
5. Marketing communications
At signup you may optionally opt in to receive marketing emails from EPL Knockout (league news, promotions and offers). This consent is voluntary, is recorded with a timestamp, and is never a condition of using the platform. You can withdraw consent at any time via the marketing toggle on your profile page or the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Withdrawing consent does not affect essential account emails such as password resets and pick confirmations. We process this data in line with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
6. Acceptable use
No abuse of other players, no attempts to manipulate results or other users' accounts, and no scraping of the platform. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
7. Liability
The platform is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for losses arising from league disputes, organiser conduct, fixture data errors, or downtime, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
